Media Too Busy Attacking Newsweek To Get The Story Right

Newsweek made a mistake, and I haven't heard an accurate report on it yet.

Anyone who thinks that Newsweek has apologized for reporting that U.S. soldiers desecrated copies of the Koran, hasn't been paying attention.

But Newsweek said the source later told the magazine he could not be certain he had seen an account of the Koran incident in the military report

-and that it might have been in other investigative documents or drafts.

...and that's all Neewsweek is apologizing for. That they said the claim would be in the military report.

They're not saying the claim itself isn't true.
