800 Ex-GIs Refuse to Report To Duty The U.S. Army has now admitted that more than 800 former soldiers have failed to comply with orders to report back to duty to fight in Iraq or Afghanistan. All of the soldiers are on what is known as the Individual Ready Reserve.
